Neuroscience
Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system, a branch of biology. However, it is currently an interdisciplinary science that collaborates with other fields such as psychology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, computer science, philosophy, and medicine. Neuroscience itself is wide including: molecular, cellular, developmental, structural, functional, evolutionary, computational, and medical aspects of the nervous system.
The focus here is theoretical and real advances in neuroscience that affect how we treat clients, what is possible in the area of recovery and healing from conditions and where the research brings better understanding of how we work at a neurological level. Cosmetic neurology highlights the potential of therapies to improve such things as workplace efficacy, attention in school, and overall happiness in personal lives.
