Mirror Neurons

Mirror neurons are pre-motor neurons that are active during actions (self) and during the observation of similar actions being carried out by another (other). For NLP, mirroring (Grinder/Bandler during the 70′s) and the discovery of Mirror Neurons (in the early 90′s) are important background knowledge for the areas of rapport, calibration, trance work, New Code NLP and implicit modelling.
